A valid and valuable caveat. Try to approach  one who shows autism  as you would approach anyone not looking down.  One person’s thoughts and understandings don’t define all of those grouped under such a broad label as autism is. It covers such a wide range of communication abilities from profoundly disabled to  superior communicators such as Temple Grandin.
